SONIC
BOOM
By: SMULE

Description

  • Begin each day with a bang.
  • Sonic Boom turns your phone into a virtual firecracker and uses your finger as a virtual match. Strike the match, ignite the fuse, wait... boom.
  • Resize the firecracker (and TNT) with a vertical pinch gesture. Resize the fuse length (and time) with a horizontal pinch gesture. For those with more elaborate combustive plans, go ahead and graft a picture on the firecracker.
  • Use touch to explore the exploded debris. Use the time bar to slow down or speed up an explosion.
  • See and hear actual explosions around the world: tap the Smule logo to get the icon bar, and then tap the globe
  • If your finger begins to get raw from using it as a match, we recommend trying the Sonic Lighter to ignite your fuse (yes, this really does work, but requires two iPhones: one for Sonic Boom and one for Sonic Lighter).
  • Money back guarantee: if you are not satisfied with this product within the first seven days of your purchase, send us a message by selecting the 'report issue' button of the info screen, and type 'refund' in the message text.

The Dev team has been working extra hard the last few days to unlock the new 3G iPhone. There is not even a vague estimate for the release date. So this is just a little information to let you know that the Dev Team has not given up on unlocking your phones. If you are interested in reading directly from the Dev Team ... read on below.

We made some significant 3G progress this week.

Here’s a screenshot of a 3G iPhone whose baseband has been modified. And

even though it’s modified — and fails the integrity check — it’s still running.

Can you guess where the patch was made?

3G Modified BB

Running modified baseband code is a very useful ability, but it’s still not

possible to accurately estimate how close we are to the ultimate goal.

*****IMPORTANT*****

Ok, I have gotten many warnings about Cracked apps being linked by my blog. So as of now I will no longer link or endorse Cracked Apps. Links for cracked apps are avalable all over the web and will probably never go away. If you use or download cracked apps you can still find them, but not on my blog. Also I have been dogged for hotlinking images from touchpodium but just to clear this up. One, I use it as a template and then edited it , just like they got that original image from apples app store. Two, I did give them credit. Finally, I dont see were I went wrong. Other than some people taking it as I ment that TouchPodium endorsed CrackedApps, and
They Do Not. Read the post that this post is a response to here.

UPDATE---------

The three-member board that sets statutory copyright licenses e-mailed the Digital Media Association (DiMA), the National Music Publishers’ Association, Apple, and other download stores with its decision to keep the royalty rate 9.1 cents.

What all this means of course is that Apple will not be shuttering iTunes–as if there was ever much of a chance for this–and appears to remain very much in control over the economics of digital music. - via cnet

CNN Fortune has it that Apple is actually considering shutting down iTunes. Reasons being the Copyright Royalty Board in Washington, D.C. is expected to rule Thursday on a request by the National Music Publishers’ Association to increase royalty rates paid to its members on songs purchased from online music stores like iTunes. The publishers association wants to raise the rates from 9 cents up to 15 cents per track. That is a raise of 66%! What the hell is that? I mean, I would understand the association raising the rates a couple cents to 11 cents per track, but straight up to 15 cents? That’s unheard of. As you’ve probably already guessed, Apple Inc. is highly against this act, and will not tolerate it. Eddy Cue; Vice President of iTunes said, “Apple has repeatedly made it clear that it is in this business to make money, and most likely would not continue to operate [the iTunes music store] if it were no longer possible to do so profitably.”

If Apple cannot talk the publishers association into lowering the cost per track, they will consider shutting down iTunes entirely, which is a very scary thought. Piper Jaffray estimates that Apple will sell approximately 2.4 billion songs this year giving the company an 85% share of the digital music market. That’s over three quarters of the entire market! If Apple doesn’t agree, then I think it’s pretty safe to say that it won’t happen, because if Apple shuts down iTunes, which they do not want to do of course, that’ll leave us with only the remaining 15% of the market. Albeit, if Apple shut down iTunes, that would be stupendous news for Wal-Mart, and other competitors, it’d be quite a let down for hundreds of millions of people around the globe. The iTunes Music Store has been the Internets most successful music store for over five years now, and we do not want to see that disapear now.

If Apple wanted to continue making profit with the raise to 15 cents, they would be forced to raise their 99 cent per song price, which they feel is highly unacceptable. In other words, Apple would rather shut down the iTunes Music Store entirely, rather than raise the 99 cent per song price tag.

“I have no doubt that an increase in the per track price would lower total music purchases at the store,” the Apple executive said in his statement.

Apple pays an estimated 70 cents of every dollar it collects per song to the record companies responsible for each track. The record companies turn over nine cents to the music publishers who control the copyrights to these songs.

On the contrary, The Digital Media Association, which represents Apple and other online music services, is seeking an even lower rate of 4.8 cents a track, or 6% of “applicable revenues.”

Apple doesn’t make any income off of iPod sales, which is one reason they would like to keep the iTunes Music Store open, as it is their way of making income off of proposed iPod sales.

Many are reporting that flash will finally come to the iPhone and iPod Touch. All this hope and hype comes from a quote from flashmagazine

"Upon a direct question from the audience, Paul Betlem for the first time publicly confirmed that Adobe is actively developing a Flash Player for Apple’s popular phone. He said (not direct quote) ‘My team is working on Flash on the iPhone, but it’s a closed platform.’ He noted that Apple makes all the decisions, so in other words, the ball is in Apple’s yard at this time. If Apple says yes, Adobe will have the player available in a very short time."

Now this sounds great but do not get your hopes up. John Gruber of Daring Fireball makes some very good points

"The Internet pipes are chock full of reaction to the news that Adobe is “working on” a Flash player for the iPhone, much of it based on the weird assumption that if Adobe can get it working well, Apple will publish it. Guess what? Apple isn’t going to publish it.

Think about it: If there were a Flash player for the iPhone, you could write games and other software in Flash rather than in Cocoa Touch. And you could sell games and apps directly for the Flash player, completely circumventing the App Store. Does this sound like something Apple would allow?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Apple will not publish a Flash player for the iPhone unless and until there exists some other mobile phone that (a) does run Flash, and (b) starts taking sales away from the iPhone. Which, my guess is, means never. Apple has no motivation to allow it.

If Adobe really wants to get Flash on the iPhone, they should shut up about the iPhone and start talking about and coding for Android. An excellent implementation of Flash for Android would give Adobe some amount of actual leverage. Until then, Adobe’s just embarrassing themselves every time they mention it."

Ok so recently a new Launcher software has been released through ModMyiFone.com. I have reveiwed it and come up with a conclusion. This software needs a lot of more work. When ever I update an application through the App Store my phone is put into SAFE MODE. Process that Apple uses to alert failure/crashes by the SpingBoard. This send them information about your iPhone or iPod Touch. Thus providing them with more and more oppertunities to keep us from hacking or Iphones and iPod Touches forever.

If You recieve this screen(below) imediately reboot your device by holding both the Power and Home button for at most 10 sec. This will end all process and restart them and cause the information being sent to Apple. If you recieve this screen a few times in a row i recomend completely Uninstalling it untill further NOTICE!
